SPILL 2009 hosts an extraordinary event at the National Theatre Studio where emerging UK artists showcase innovative, exciting and daring work being created today, by the names of the future.

In January 2009, SPILL announced a National call out for artists who have been sharing their performance work for a maximum of up to three years. The response was unprecedented, attracting nearly three hundred applicants.

Twenty of these applicants have be chosen to showcase their work at the heart of SPILL 2009, working alongside internationally renowned artists and companies like Romeo Castellucci, Jan Fabre, Grace Ellen Barkey & Needcompany among many others. Performing alternately in the upstairs and ground level spaces of the NTS, this is will be a two-day event to whet your appetite for the future of live performance.
