Robert Pacitti has been included in this year’s Hospital Club 100, the list of the most influential, innovative and interesting people working in the Creative Industries across the UK, made in partnership with The Guardian.
From nearly 1,000 initial nominations, across a variety of industries, including Broadcast, Fashion, Art & Design and Creative Entrepreneurs, a shortlist of 300 people was whittled down to the final 100 through an open public vote and selection by the Hospital Club and Guardian Culture Professionals Network committee.
Robert’s inclusion in the 10 names selected from the Theatre and Performance category is a testament to the ground-breaking work done through his curation of SPILL Festival of Performance and the rolling programme at the Pacitti Company Think Tank.
Nominated alongside other big names of the last 12 months (including future National Theatre Artistic Director Rufus Norris) Robert is thrilled to have been selected for the final 100, and is hoping that this will improve the facility for experimental work and recognition of Ipswich cultural industries both locally and nationally.
