PUBLIC RECORD - JUSTIN HOPPER + SCANNER

Created for SPILL 2016, Public Record is a recorded audio tour, designed to be listened to amongst the Ogilvie Collection of British Birds at Ipswich Museum. New poetry and music created from the Museum’s archives and collections guides listeners through unseen connections and subtle hauntings.


SOUNDHIDE - MIKE CHALLIS

SoundHide was an installation presented in SPILL 2016 by artist Mike Challis. Set in an outdoor classroom in Christchurch Park, it featured recordings made in the green spaces of Ipswich, and provided a den in which people could rest and listen in an immersing, safe place to wildlife sounds gathered from their local environment.
