Mike Challis’ Nightwire is a woodland sculpture which leads the audience along a path, winding between trees, to hear the sounds of wildlife played through found objects including a water butt, old pizza trays, and the shell of a washing machine. Oh, and an obligatory bedstead.

Night Rills took the concept further – adding lights to the found objects and incorporating the sounds of underwater cavern systems.

Recreated exclusively for SPILL inside the Think Tank, the latest incarnation of Nightwire and Night Rills will showcase these two environments. Enjoy a playful journey through the countryside in the heart of the town.

Think Tank Live events start with a performance or presentation from our featured artist, followed by a Q&A session hosted by our Artistic Director, Robin Deacon. Stick around afterwards for drinks and chat.
