VOLUNTEERING
POSH CLUB - JUNE 2024
SPILL Festival are working in partnership with Duckie to present a spectacular Posh Club special in Ipswich. Taking place in the Grand Hall, Ipswich Town Hall on Tuesday 4th June 12pm – 3pm, we are on the hunt for volunteers to make this event happen.
Posh Clubs are glamorous performance and social clubs for older people. Styled as a tongue in cheek 1940s afternoon tea, there will be live performances from dancer Rosy May, Shirley Classy and Pink Suits.
The events are held in central locations with a view to encouraging older people to come along, dress up, connect with others and watch glitzy live performances.
Volunteers are key to making Posh Clubs happen – they help serve afternoon tea, they act as hosts and help us to ensure the event goes off without a hitch.

WORK EXPERIENCE + INTERNSHIPS
We only offer internships when we can pay for them. Usually this is when we participate in a scheme that enables us to do so, or when a person wishing to intern is on a scheme that provides them with paid resource for an experience which we can then facilitate.
We are experienced hosts for people seeking a placement for a school or college course, or professional development scheme. Recent placements with us include an arts manager from India on a British Council funded trip, and a student from a local university undertaking their second year degree course placement.
