TRANSACTIONLAND ARTIST CALLOUT

Transactionland is an artwork, pop-up shop, community space & venue for thinking about economics, led by Art Business Ltd (aka artist Rachael Clerke). Taking place in an empty high street shop, Transactionland is a space where visitors can ask difficult questions, play games, meet new people, take part in workshops, attend events or just hang out. It is fun, free to access, child-friendly and amateur-led. Accepted currencies in Transactionland include cash, card, stock cubes, time & anecdotes amongst others.

The Local Produce Commission invites a Suffolk based artist to create an interactive installation or encounter for Transactionland’s Ipswich edition, presented by SPILL.

WORK EXPERIENCE + INTERNSHIPS

We only offer internships when we can pay for them. Usually this is when we participate in a scheme that enables us to do so, or when a person wishing to intern is on a scheme that provides them with paid resource for an experience which we can then facilitate.

We are experienced hosts for people seeking a placement for a school or college course, or professional development scheme. Recent placements with us include an arts manager from India on a British Council funded trip, and a student from a local university undertaking their second year degree course placement.
